York University has a Total Academic Headcount (TAH) license for MATLAB, Simulink, and add-on products. Faculty, researchers, and students may use these products for teaching, research, and learning. The license allows individuals to install the products on university-owned equipment, as well as personally owned computers.
YorkU Site-wide Licensing Program
In August 2018, York University adopted the MathWorks Total Academic Headcount (TAH) site-wide license program giving YorkU faculty, students, staff, computing labs, and computing commons unlimited access to software and licenses for MATLAB, Simulink, and add-on products at no additional cost.
